Day 1: Arrival at Cochin – Athirappilly Falls – Munnar

Upon your arrival in Cochin, embark on a journey to Munnar, making a stop at the breathtaking Athirappilly Falls, renowned as Kerala’s most iconic waterfalls. Towering at 80 feet high and stretching 330 feet wide, the Athirapally Falls presents a stunning spectacle, nestled against the backdrop of the Sholayar ranges, and is often dubbed the “Niagara Falls of India.” Just a short 5 km away lies another magnificent waterfall, Vazhachal.

After relishing the beauty of the waterfalls, continue your journey towards Munnar. Your first stop will be the Eravikulam National Park (additional ticket fee applies), which will be closed from January 2025 until March 2025, followed by a visit to the Mattupetty Dam (additional ticket fee applies), a remarkable concrete gravity dam nestled in the mountains. Mattupetty presents a plethora of enchanting views to savor. In addition to the picturesque tea plantations and undulating grasslands, the Shola forests surrounding Mattupetty provide an excellent trekking experience and serve as a habitat for a diverse array of bird species. Subsequently, you will visit the Kundala Dam (additional ticket fee applies), where the renowned Neela Kurunji flowers bloom once every twelve years, adorning the hills and valleys with their beauty—!!

Day 4: Journey from Alleppey to Thekkady (140 Kms – Approximately 4 Hours)

Day 6: Departure from Thekkady + Sightseeing in Kochi

As you continue your exploration, make your way to St Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Conclude your tour at the magnificent Mattancherry Palace, constructed by the Portuguese and graciously gifted to the Raja of Kochi in 1555.
